We wanted a hotel that was close to the Gare de Lyon but not on *top* of the Gare de Lyon, and the Mercure Paris Gare de Lyon was the perfect location. We arrived in Paris at 10AM and appreciated being able to leave our bags at the hotel while we did some sight-seeing and got lunch before check-in. Room was quite quiet and comfortable.

The hotel was very quiet despite being two blocks from the Gare de Lyon. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the amenities were good, and the free drink was much appreciated. The bathroom was a decent size for a Parisian hotel and there was a real wall/door between the room and the bathroom - a rarity now adays but a must for a family with children.

A comfortable hotel, with a good breakfast at a reasonable price and a broad choice of "non industrial" foods (20€). Rooms are not large (normal central Paris) but clean and quiet if your room is not on the street. Comfortable bed, room is sober and the batheroom was normally equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. R

Thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay. here. Pleasant, helpful and friendly staff happy to help with restaurant recommendations. Bedroom made up and bathroom cleaned to very high standard every day. Hotel in good location near the Gare de Lyon train station with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from near by. A big bonus is that it is situated on a quiet street, which ensured a good night's sleep. Definitely ticks all the boxes for a short break and would happily return.

The manager managed to get a room available early for us as we were very early. It was so appreciated. We felt very valued. The styling, colors, and design of the hotel was so beautiful and interesting. The bed and pillows were great. A perfect place.

Good breakfast offered but expensive. Rooms were compact but had all required conveniences and a beautiful bathroom. Excellent location close to Gare de Lyon train station, restaurants and reasonably close to the sights of Paris. Staff were welcoming and prompt and supportive with a minor issue we had.

The staff were incredible. My son arrived with food poisoning and we required an additional nights stay. The front desk staff were able to accomodate this and were so kind and helpful to us. The room was exactly as shown in the images and very clean and comfortable. The hotel was also handy to Gare de Lyon, and to plenty of fantastic eating establishments. Would stay again and have recommended to others.

The building is beautiful, the lobby is modern and clean. Friendly staff. Rooms need better updating. The first room we were offered was so small I couldn't stand in it, horrible, + needed a big updating. Second room was much better however still needs a updating, bathroom was great in the second room.

Fantastic stay - I message the hotel in inform them It was my partners 30th Birthday and they kindly ensured we got a balcony room and decorated the room with balloons and a message from the staff. It was such a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. The location was brilliant - 2 mins walk from Gare De Lyon which is on the Metro 1 line which is one of the main lines to take you around the city. Hotel lobby always smelt fantastic and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was beautifully decorated and a good size for the price. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to Friends and family
